Located in the heart of Deià, Can Mestre is a beautifully restored traditional townhouse, once used as the village school. Renovated in 2011, the home combines historic character—original wooden beams, terracotta floors, and even a preserved well in the kitchen—with modern comforts and thoughtful design.

The property
Spread across three floors, the house features a blend of cozy and elegant spaces, two fireplaces, and two private outdoor areas: a tranquil courtyard garden with hot tub and a secluded rooftop terrace with sweeping views of the mountains.

Accommodation
The house sleeps up to six guests in three stylish bedrooms:

  • Bedroom 1: Super king four-poster bed, dressing room, en-suite bathroom, fireplace, TV & DVD

  • Bedroom 2: King-size four-poster bed, en-suite bathroom

  • Bedroom 3: Double bed (5ft), en-suite bathroom

All bathrooms feature walk-in showers or bathtubs and heated towel rails. A fourth compact bathroom with walk-in shower is also available. Hairdryers are provided in each bedroom.

Living areas
The ground floor includes an open-plan living and dining area with a fireplace, CD/iPod system, and access to the courtyard. Upstairs, a bright and spacious first-floor lounge offers sofas, armchairs, Sky satellite TV, and a second fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, Nespresso machine, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and a separate drinks fridge.

Outdoor areas
The rear courtyard garden offers a private space for relaxing and dining, with a hot tub for 4–5 people, BBQ, a dining table for 8, two sun loungers, and decorative touches like climbing plants and candleholders. Upstairs, a private roof terrace with built-in seating and panoramic mountain views is an ideal sunbathing spot.

Location & distances
Ideally situated in the centre of Deià, Can Mestre is within easy reach of the village’s restaurants, galleries, and walking trails. While peaceful and private, the home remains connected to local life.

Rental information
Bookings require a 25% non-refundable deposit, with the balance due eight weeks before arrival. A refundable €1,000 damage deposit is also required. Weekly rates include cleaning, linen, bath towels, and beach towels. Mid-stay cleaning and fresh linens are provided for stays longer than one week.
