Sineu Market

Sineu market, one of the oldest in Mallorca each week attracts the interest of a large audience composed of Mallorca and a large number of foreign visitors, including foreign tourists.

A quote that offers a commercial variety: vegetables, fruits, livestock, flowers, trees, tools, agricultural machinery, and above all, clothing, footwear and gift items make a proposal whose vendors come mostly from Palma (50%) but also of many other municipalities in the island.

The market is held on Wednesdays and is the only of Mallorca, including an exhibition of live animals. The main indigenous breeds of Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza are exposed in a specially equipped warehouse in the Plaça des Mercat, which is one of the main attractions for visitors. Each week more than 700 the “trust” intended stalls, occupying the entire historical center of the town.
